On Saturday, May 2, our church family and community will gather together to Serve All. Our 8th annualServe the City will serve individuals in our community, our city and our schools through the volunteer service of people like you. We will team up and tackle projects throughout the morning in an effort to shine the light of Christ to our community through acts of service.
Do you have a particular skill set that could be valuable to our Serve the City event? Perhaps you just have a desire to serve and lead others. Would you like to serve, but leading isn’t your thing? That’s okay too, we would love to have you join a team to help serve.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, a donut breakfast and a free lunch hosted at Jefferson Pizza Kitchen following the days events.
Several hundred volunteers from Galilee Christian Church and our community will be heading out into Jackson County on the morning of Saturday, May 2, 2020, to take on a massive one-day service project meant to "Serve the City". These volunteers will be teaming up to tackle projects large and small across the county in an effort to reach out and impact the people of Jackson County in a meaningful way.
All projects must be small enough a team of 4 to 10 unskilled volunteers can complete the work in three hours or less.
